We have announced a major jobs boost at Port Salford and are now actively in the recruiting phase for 280 new staff at all levels.

Port Salford is the UK's first “three way” logistics centre. Known in the trade as “Tri-modal”, the exciting development at Port Salford will be linking road, rail, and water logistics systems across the UK and Ireland.

The massive 271,000 sq. ft. Culina warehouse operation is set to go live in early 2016.

“We are looking at the long term with this cutting edge facility, Port Salford is taking a revolutionary approach to logistics in the UK”, said Tom Middlemiss of Culina, “We at Culina are proud to be a leading part of this venture. Great people are what will make it a success and it is great local people that we are actively calling out for to come and join us. This is a really exciting opportunity for job seekers in the region”

At Culina we have enjoyed tremendous growth since entering the UK market place in 1994 and we now stand as a £250 million business. Operating across the chilled and ambient temperature ranges, we provide a number of shared-user supply chain solutions, including warehousing, transportation and contract packing, plus extensive bonded expertise.
